Previously, we have to do the preparation steps as follows:

1. Install Windows complete with driver and software that is commonly used or are using Windows already installed on your computer. Do not forget, optimization is used to install windows and make sure that we have a virus-free backup windows was really optimal and ready to work.
2. Prepare a DOS Bootable CD or Floppy disk.
3. Prepare the hard drive clonning software, for example, norton ghost (the old version better, version 11 or earlier).

Windows backup steps:

1. Boot to DOS
2. Run software norton ghost
3. Select Local> Partition> To Image
4. Select the Source Drive and click OK
5. Select Source Partition (the partition that will be our backup windows) and click OK
6. Select the partition that we will use to store our backup file, type the name of our backup file, then click Save.
7. After the confirmation box will appear asking if we will compress the backup file you or not. Select No if the capacity is still quite a lot of our hard drives, or select a fast or high capacity hard drive to save us.

Wait until the backup process is finished, usually around 5-10 minutes, depending on the speed of disk and file size that is in our backup windows partition.

The steps to restore the backup windows from which we make:

1. Booting via DOS
2. Run norton ghost
3. Select Local> Partition> From Image
4. Choose File Backup Image or we have made earlier.
5. Select Source Partition and click OK
6. Select the Destination Drive (Drive goal) and then click OK
7. Select a Destination Partition (partition destination where we will restore our backup TSB) and then click OK
8. Further confirmation box will appear whether we will continue the process of restoration page. Make sure you move right as the destination partition is removed and its contents will be replaced with the backup that you created earlier. If you are sure, click Yes and wait until the process is complete.

Taaa .. daa .. within 5-10 minutes, our windows are fresh and ready for use again optimal.

Restoration steps above do not have to do now but there's no harm in trying to ascertain whether you have a perfect backup.
