In an article before about how to quickly install windows , we've talked about how to use norton ghost backup windows.
As we know, norton ghost is a commercial software that requires us to buy a license. Despite the fact that the internet is widely available in versions that have been cracked or even we can easily find serial number on the various sites that did provide a serial number, but instead we get the full version of his, just the computer that eventually we even known viruses .
As an alternative to norton ghost who paid it, we can use a fairly powerful freeware that is Clonezilla.

What are the advantages of open source software than with other cloning software?
According to his official website, clonezilla.org:
Clonezilla is an Opensource Clone System (OCS). Clonezilla, based on DRBL, Partition Image, ntfsclone, partclone, and udpcast, allows you to do bare metal backup and recovery. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (server edition). Clonezilla live is Suitable for single machine backup and restore. While Clonezilla SE is for massive deployment.
By using this software, we can perform backup and recovery partition or hard drive with ease. Clonezilla is available in two versions namely: Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (Server Edition).
Clonezilla live can be used to make the process of partition or hard disk cloning and backup and restore hard drive partitions or on a standalone PC. While Clonezilla SE can be used to perform clonning partition or hard drive on a computer network. Even according to their experience, the software is able to perform the cloning process simultaneously they will be done simultaneously on a network with 41 computers and only takes 10 minutes to do a clone of 5.6 GBytes system image. Great is not it?!
This software is available as a live cd in iso format or zip file. We simply download and burn it to CD and can be used without the need to install anything. If anyone is interested, please download the iso or zip file it on:

Good luck ..
Do not forget to write down your experiences in the comments box so that it could be a reference for other users. Thank you.

4Greetings ..!
I've tried Clonezilla fit my needs, namely: Installing OS for 8 Units Speksifikasi Laptops with the same. And why why did not I think of my first open source familiar with this one. For the cloning capacity of 250 GB hard drive with the restore image file of 3.8 GB only takes 11 minutes. It really helps my work,
